Stellar Vets: Maternity Cover Position

Stellar Vets, the multi-award winning and most loved practice in Littlehampton, is looking for  maternity cover for our lovely Vet Amy.

About Us

We are a 100% small animal practice with zero out of hours and no weekends. We pride ourselves on looking after our staff as well as our clients and their fur-babies.

The Position

Amy, one of our current vets (we have three), is going to be going on Maternity leave end Dec / early Jan - these things can be unpredictable! We are looking for a vet, who fits our culture, to cover Amy's hours of Monday and Fridays 8am-5pm.

But we are quite a new clinic, we will have our third birthday in January 2024, and it is more than likely that a permanent position with increased hours will become available within the following 12 months.

Benefits

For this position we are offering 4 weeks equivalent of holidays, (8 Days).  These hours do also get a disproportionate number of bank holidays too.

Salary in the £50,000-£55,000 pro-rata region. So a two day week would be £20,000 - £22,000

All candidates will be required to work a trial day (this will be paid) as it is vital that ALL the team will be happy to have you join us and we believe  only way to assess someone for a job is to have them do the job. 

Location

Littlehampton is a town tucked between the sea and the south downs. A stone's throw from Brighton and direct train line to London.
